30 years of Apple history
MacWorld has the story.
"A world of disorderly notions, picked out of his books, crowded into his imagination; and now his head was full of nothing but enchantments, quarrels, battles, challenges, wounds, complaints, amours, torments, and abundance of stuff and impossibilities." (Cervantes, Don Quixote)

I just read an article in the print edition of Digital Photographer magazine about this being the 10-year anniversary of the consumer era of digital photography. If I can find it online tomorrow, I'll post it, as it is sort of in the same spirit as this piece. Back in '96, a 1MP camera was at the leading edge of technology, which is pretty difficult to believe today, isn't it?
