Elbie has asked me to let you know that she appreciates the comments, and in Sylvia's case, that she enjoyed your recent visit and hopes you will come back soon.
You would really have liked one of the aviaries at the Fort Worth zoo where we spent the day. It is full of the most gorgeous parakeets (along with a few small parrots). You can buy seeds on a stick to feed them which we didn't do. However, some of them were such neon bright colors it was almost as if they had been dyed.
